Safe-T-Grip is an industrial aid for operators using high-pressure water hoses in demanding cleaning and mining environments. It takes the load and reaction force off the body, letting the worker direct the jet with control instead of brute strength.
The Problem
Manually bracing a high-pressure hose is exhausting and dangerous — recoil, awkward postures and fatigue lead to strain injuries and loss of control over the nozzle.
My Approach
I designed a height-adjustable T-frame with a secure hose clamp, two rubber-gripped handles for a balanced two-handed stance, and a foot-pad base that anchors the tool and transfers reaction force to the ground. High-visibility yellow and rugged steel suit the harsh setting.
The Outcome
Operators gain stability and precision while dramatically reducing physical load — a simple, robust tool that puts safety and control first.
